Kitty at my foot and I want to touch it

Nobody needs to blog every day. But damn if I didn’t enter this NaBloPoMoFo contest, and damn if I’m going to give up now. I could use this post to tell you about Sunday, which I spent at Woodbury Commons with Sister Alyson. I’d create a funny story about the way we set out to go Christmas shopping but ended up only buying clothes for ourselves. Or possibly I could hilariously recount the thirty minute phone call Sister Alyson took from the Boyfriend-in-law. Perhaps I could write up a Sedaris-esque antidote about driving home from the city while having to pee and the salvation that was the Walgreens bathroom in Yonkers. However, I do not wish not to burden the internet with further rambling (I know, too late!) Instead, let me present to you this picture of my cat, Micki:

You may have noticed that I’ve posted a picture of her every day, but you may not have noticed that each picture links to a fun and related website, in case you want to learn about removing beet stains, hear Battlestar Galactica quotes, or learn how not fart in yoga class.

I do not wish not to burden the internet with further rambling

Y’know, my friends often ask why I post so seldom to my LiveJournal, and I think that about sums it up. That, and while I may feel inspired to write something while at work or while out and about, I’ve found that any and all inspiration has gone by the time I get behind the keyboard to actually write the post.

That said, I really do give you a lot of credit for taking part in NaBloPoMo, because I don’t I could do it. I’ve found that I’m far too critical of my own work to be able to pull it off.
